hydroOne eco Frequency Inverters for Water Pumps

The hydroOne eco variable-speed pump controller is specifically designed for use with hydroOne controllers. It combines easy installation (plug-in connections, no programming of the frequency inverter required) with a high degree of functional flexibility. These functions are configured in the pump module of the hydroOne controller.

The pump modules in hydroOne control up to five variable-speed pumps efficiently and according to demand. The aim is to maintain constant pressure, a constant water level or a constant flow rate – automatically adjusted to the current system demand. The pumps can operate together in a single module or be divided between two independent pump modules, e.g. two separate pressure boosting systems.

In addition to cascaded speed control, hydroOne provides important protection and auxiliary functions: these include dry-running protection, zero-flow shutdown, flow monitoring, pipe filling and setpoint switching, as well as duty pump alternation in multi-pump operation and setpoint specification via irrigation programmes.
